Flood
Park located on the Peninsula about half
way between SFO and SJC was again the scene
for another fabulous reunion. The
first one was held in the fall of 1990 on
the 10 year anniversary of what is effect
refereed to as the "DUCKING" of
RW. Almost 600 people packed in for
that one. The summer of 1995 saw reunion
number two at Flood Park, not so many people
but just as much fun. Then, in June
of 2000 we celebrated the twenty year anniversary
of the "DUCKING."
Original
plans of the fabulous group of former Hughes
Airwest people that make this thing happen
so smoothly called for the next reunion
in 2005. They decided early this year
to break with the five year pattern because
of our dwindling numbers and the desire of so many of us to get together more frequently. Preliminary
plans are already underway for the next one to happen in the summer/fall of
2005.
Below are the first wave of photos from this year's get together
that saw almost 250 of us reliving those
wonderful days. These shots are taken from
a digital camcorder and won't be quite as
clear as future photos that we will receive
from folks that were there with there digital
and 35mm cameras. You only need "click"
on any of the smaller image for a larger
view. As time permits, we will be
adding the names to the large views to those
that we can identify.
