Larry was born in San Francisco on December 23, 1940.
He was hired by Pacific Airlines in July 1966. He was in management in Payroll and General Accounting until September of 1971. He was pitcher on the Airline Softball Team during his entire airline career.
He married Ann Gilsdorf, a secretary in Revenue Accounting, in October of 1967. In 1980 Larry started his own firm, King and Associates Bookkeeping and Tax Preparation.
On February 11, 2008, Larry died at home after a short but valiant fight with liver cancer. He is survived by Ann, their 3 sons and 1 granddaughter and was buried with Military Honors at Sacramento Valley V. A. National Cemetery in Dixon, California.
