Harold Carpenter passed away unexpectedly February 25, 2004 at TMC. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at ADAIR CHAPEL, 1050 N. Dodge Blvd., 3:00 p.m Tuesday, March 2, 2004. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the University of Arizona Cancer Center is appreciated. Harold considered life to be an incredible journey and never forgot to look in awe at a spectacular Tucson sunset, giggle as ten fingers and toes were counted, or appreciate a good round of golf with friends. He proudly served his country and while stationed in Germany, he met and married his wife of 40+ years. After his tour of service, he dedicated the next 40+ years to the airline industry, traveling to many distant lands... but never forgetting that home was the greatest experience of all. The world lost a shining beacon of humanity, but the heavens are now a little bit brighter. Harold's wife, children, grandchildren, sisters and their families all mourn his passing, but take comfort in knowing that their lives were blessed and enriched by this special and wonderful man.
