Nicki began her career with WCA in 1965 working in Reservations at Voeing Field. She retired from NWA in 1997.  

At age 68, Nicki has peace at last from her battle against the neuromuscular disease ALS. She passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 7, with her daughters by her side. Nicki was as beautiful and radiant on the inside as she was on the outside. She grew up in Bremerton, graduated from BHS in 1953, then moved to Seattle. Nicki married Larry Keifert and raised her family while working for the airlines. She loved boating, traveling and making new friends.<

Always a warm weather fan, she moved to California, remarried, and enjoyed retirement in Palm Springs, where she enjoyed volunteering, golfing, reading and swimming.<

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Anderson (2003), her first husband Larry Keifert (2000), as well as her parents Lawrence and Helen Pflughoeft.<

Her memory will be cherished by her daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Rick Funkhouser of Graham, Donna and Harold Smyth of Snohomish, as well as her grandchildren, Scott, Lauren and Griffin, and her brother Larry Pflughoeft.<

Services and a celebration of her life will be held at St. Albans Church, 21405 82 PL W. Edmonds, Wash., on Saturday, Sept 18 at 2 p.m.
