What exactly does this
mean? To put it simply, you can have
any email address you want at hughesairwest.com
as long as someone else hasn't beaten
you to it and it's in good taste!
2.
How
does it work? Once you have
decided on your hughesairwest.com email
address and we have confirmed that it is
available, we'll set up the mechanics so
that any email sent to your selected RW
address will be forwarded to your existing
email address. It's what is known
in the internet as an "email alias."
3.
Will
I still be able to use my regular email
address? Absolutely! You simply
need to set up an additional email account
in your email program (Microsoft Outlook,
Outlook Express, Netscape Email, Eudora,
or whatever) to reply or send email when
you want to use your ???@hughesairwest.com
address. The tech support people at
your internet provider can assist you if
necessary.

4.
Is there an additional
charge from my Internet Provider (ISP)? NO!
It works the same as though the email
was being sent direct to your current address.
Your outgoing mail goes direct just
as it does now through your internet service
provider's mail server, it just shows your
whatever@hughesairwest.com address as the
reply address (exeception: aol accounts.)
5.
Will my hughesairwest.com email
address work on AOL? Yes and No.
You can give or send your ??@hughesairwest.com
eamil address to anyone and, when they use
it, the email (attachments included) will
automaticlaly forward to your aol email
address and you will receive as normal.
When you reply however with an aol
account, there is no option to show your
email as coming from your hughesairwest
email address. In our humble opinion,
this is just one more reason to get off
of aol and sign up with a real ISP!
6.
Is there a solution to the AOL
problem? Yes, it involves setting
you up with an actual email box that would
work basically the same way a yahoo or a
hotmail account works. There is a
limited number of these types of accounts
available and the one time charge in $20.00
instead of $15.00. If you are intereested
in this signing up for this type of accout,

and we'll tell you how to get it set up.

What happens if I change ISP's? No
problem, just send us an email with your
new email address and we will quickly change
the forwarding address on your hughesairwest.com
email to your new ISP address.
8.
If I can't get things working properly,
what happens? Try either type of
account risk free for 45 days. If
you are not happy, let us know and we'll
cheerfully refund your money.
9.
What characters can I use in my
email address? Any combination of
letters and numbers plus any of these characters
up to a maximum of 17: Underscore ( _
) Dot or period ( . ) Dash (
- ) Spaces are not permitted and any
other characters are not permitted.

Does the address have to be all lower
case? Your hughesairwest.com email
address will not be case sensitive so you
can mix and match upper and lower case as
you see fit.
11.
How fast will my new hughesairwest.com
address take affect? It is instantaneous
as soon as we set up the mechanics with
our webhosting company (Earthlink.) Pleas
allow us 24 to 48 hours to process. As
soon as your new email address is active,
we will send you a test email that will
notify you of it's activation.
12.
Can I use my new hughesairwest.com email
address on my profile
on the Hughes Airwest website? Most
defenitley, just send us an email after
your new email is activated and ask for
the change.
